Tosa Supercar by Darren McKeage

The Tosa Supercar designed by Darren McKeage, won the first place at the 2012 Supercar Body Challenge organized by “GrabCAD” and “500 Group”. There were 200 unique concepts for the body of a predetermined chassis given in CAD format. The “500 Group” will also contact several from the top engineers from the challenge to work together to bring one or more of these concepts into reality.
The Tosa Supercar is taking inspiration from classic sports car design defined with muscular form to the fenders, shoulders and enhanced areas like around the louvers. This given chassis package is an excellent backbone to create an athletic aggressive body.
The name Tosa comes from a very powerful fighting kind of dog so that is fitting for a race car of this kind.
